LESS “WAIT, WHAT WAS THAT FOR?”

A shared understanding.
In three simple steps.

01

Put it into words.

Choose a person, an amount and what it was for. Keep it as a private note, or share it when you’re ready.

02

Get on the same page.

Your person reviews the request in Owevo. It only joins your agreed balances once they accept it.

03

See what’s left.

Record payments as they happen. Once the recipient confirms they’ve received the money, the balance updates.

THE GOOD STUFF, BUILT IN

Small details.
Much less guesswork.

Money can be complicated.
Keeping track of it shouldn’t be.

Both sides of the story.

See what you owe and what you’re owed. Private notes and requests waiting for agreement stay clearly separate.

A little at a time is fine.

Agree a single date or repayments across days, weeks, months or years. Confirm partial payments and see what’s next.

Every balance has a story.

Open a breakdown of the original amount, confirmed payments and agreed corrections. Search your records or save a statement.

Currencies stay themselves.

Pounds, euros and other supported currencies have their own balances. No surprise conversions or mixed-currency totals.

A FEW GOOD QUESTIONS

Let’s clear
that up.

Something else on your mind?
Talk to us.

Can anyone join Owevo now?

Not yet. Owevo is in a small, invite-only beta for adults in the UK. Existing invited users can open the web app. You can ask about early access; contacting us doesn’t automatically create an account or add you to marketing emails.

What does “IOU” mean?

“I owe you.” In Owevo, it’s simply a note about money one person owes another. You add who it’s between, the amount and what it was for. A private note is your record; it only becomes a shared agreement after the other person accepts it.

Does Owevo move money?

No. Pay each other using cash, your bank or another payment service. Record the payment in Owevo, then the recipient confirms they’ve received it. Owevo doesn’t hold your money or connect to your bank.

Do we both need to install it?

No. Both people can use the web app without installing anything. You can also keep a private record for yourself. Shared agreements require the other person to have access to Owevo; during the beta, accounts and testing partners are approved by the organiser.

What if something was entered wrongly?

Unconfirmed payment reports can be withdrawn. A confirmed payment can be reversed by agreement before a replacement is recorded. The history stays visible, so corrections don’t silently rewrite what happened.

Is the beta free?

There’s no charge to use the current invite-only beta. Future pricing hasn’t been announced. Owevo doesn’t currently charge interest or collect debts.

Can I use it offline?

You need a connection to view current records, share requests and confirm changes. If a connection drops during an action, reconnect and check its status before entering it again. Owevo offers a safe retry when the result is uncertain.

KNOW WHO OWES WHAT.

Keep the good company.
Lose the guesswork.
